Care should be taken not to position the paperweights in direct sunlight, or on a window sill, as the magnifying effect could damage delicate fabrics or furniture.   Prolonged direct sunlight will cause the flowers in the paperweight to fade over time and may cause the resin to discolour.   Sunlight is not good for paperweights!   If the paperweights require cleaning, they should be washed in warm soapy water and dried with a soft cloth.
