ICING SUGAR FLOWERS

WEDDING BOUQUETS

Hafod Grange will encapsulate flowers from your wedding bouquet or icing sugar flowers from the wedding cake, christening or anniversary cake in a paperweight for you. We can also encapsulate other flowers and objects. While every effort and care is taken in encapsulating specials, Hafod Grange Ltd cannot guarantee the final product and therefore all encapsulations are done so at the risk of the customer.

The icing sugar flowers must have their wire stems on. If they come in an arrangement, care should be taken when taking them apart or you may send the arrangement to us and we will do it for you. The best way of packing the sugar flowers is to pack them in a strong plastic container (Tupperware or similar) and either fill the container with polystyrene beads or use fine tissue paper so that the sugar flowers do not move during transit.

We would like the flowers to be as fresh as possible, and with the flower bud/head no larger than 4 cms in height and width for the large paperweight and up to 2.5 cms for the small paperweight.   Several flowers should be sent so that we can assess the best ones to use for encapsulation, and it is sometimes possible to include a selection of flowers depending on the size of the flowers and the size of the paperweight.   To keep the flowers fresh prior to mailing, immerse the stems in water and keep in a cool place.    When mailing, wrap slightly moist kitchen towel around the stems, cover this with clingfilm and wrap flower in soft dry tissue paper and pack in a strong box (Tupperware or similar), place this in a cardboard box and post via Royal Mail SPECIAL DELIVERY.

Lead time for producing "Specials" is usually between 6 to 8 weeks but may take longer.

Payment is required in advance but is not processed until the paperweights are ready to be sent. We accept cheques payable to Hafod Grange Ltd or credit/debit cards - Mastercard, Visa and delta.   Please include the security number (the last three digits) from the back of your card.

The price for the large paperweight is £35.00 each and the small paperweight £25.00 each.

The finished paperweights will be returned by Royal Mail Special Delivery (within the UK).

The price is currently £6.35 per paperweight.   For orders of two or more paperweights please contact us for the correct postage price.
